Virtual Book Club: May 2016, READY PLAYER ONE By Ernest Cline

My whole life I have given serious crap to anyone who says that they read a book when they just listened to the audiobook. And if I’m being completely transparent with you, I’ve always considered audiobook lovers cheaters. I’m not saying that I’m proud. I’m just telling you the truth. So a little bit of me feels like a grand hypocrite by saying what I’m about to say: I didn’t read Ready Player One. And then I suggested it for the book club and we were all in agreement and lo and behold! We were all reading it and we had to finish it. Hahaha! Does that give away how I felt about this book?

I really wanted my first book review to be “OMGILOVEDTHIS! EVERYONE READ IT! EMOJISEMOJISEMOJIS!” But this one is a little more complicated. Please keep reading.
