I’m so thankful for so many things this year. I mean, look, 2016 was a bit of a rolling trashcan fire. But in spite of the friends leaving, the terrible movies released, show cancellations, celebrity deaths, blatant and subtle racism, the oil pipelines, and not to mention that other thing that I told you I won’t talk about anymore, there’s still a lot of beauty in the world. I mean, look.

I’m excited that we get to watch, together, as this little blog changes and grows and blossoms into what she’s most intended to be. If this is your first time, I’m so pumped that you’re here, too. I’m grateful for my family–my husband who works and loves so hard and this little pup that we adopted this year. And the cat that we’ve had for a long, long time who hates the pup.
